The Catch (And How to Fix It)
Infrared is fast. Like, “flip the switch and feel it instantly” fast. But there is a trade-off: the shadow effect. Infrared only warms what it can “see.” If you have a thick shower curtain blocking the light, the area behind it stays cold and damp. The fix is easy. Just overlap the beam angles when you plan your layout. If you cover every corner, you kill the cold spots where mold loves to hide. And if you want to be really smart about it? Hook these up to a timer or a humidity sensor. That way, your bathroom stays bone-dry without you having to remember to flip a switch or waste electricity.
