Introduction
We built the Tip-Over Protection Heater to be the kind of workhorse you can actually rely on—no fuss, just steady heat where you need it most. It’s a hard-wired, high-intensity lamp, designed for process heating where safety and uptime can’t be negotiable. We’re talking about a 400V, 2500W halogen heater, 300mm long, wired with an R7s connector. And here’s the peace-of-mind feature: it shuts down the instant it’s knocked out of place.
Technical Deep-Dive
We chose 400V because it lines up with your plant’s power distribution. That keeps the current manageable, so your wiring stays sensible—no oversized conductors needed. Packing 2500W into a 300mm length gives you serious heat density. The payoff? Fast warm-up and precise control over localized zones. But that kind of power deserves respect. You need circuit protection sized right, and the housing needs proper ventilation. And the safety? It’s a hard-wired interlock, not some soft sensor. If the lamp tilts or rotates beyond its limit, the circuit cuts out instantly.
Material & Design
Inside, a halogen element runs in a quartz tube. That combination holds output steady over time and handles thermal shock without drama. The reflector coating is there for a reason: it directs infrared energy forward. So more heat lands on the target, and less gets wasted heating the bracket. Then there’s the R7s base. It gives you a solid, two-pin connection—mechanical and electrical—that installs quickly and stays put, even when there’s vibration.
Application & Benefits
This setup shines when space is tight and you need a drop-in replacement that just works. It’s a natural fit for plastic processing equipment, packaging sealers, and drying stations that demand rapid heat response. The tip-over interlock removes the risk of uncontrolled heating if the lamp gets bumped out of position. Of course, that means the fixture itself needs to be properly mounted and stable, so the safety stays aligned.
