Introduction
We built this foot warmer because some jobs just need heat, right where you need it. It’s a direct-radiant halogen lamp, made for the grit of industrial spaces. Think of it as a targeted heat source—fast, powerful, and compact. It warms the exact spot you’re working on without wasting energy heating the whole room.
Technical Deep-Dive
Here’s the heart of it: a 300mm quartz tube. It’s sized to slip into tight corners—under workstations, right next to machinery. We run it on 400V, which lets us pack a lot of power into a short element. The result? High heat density. So you get that intense warmth almost instantly, exactly where you want it.
Material & Design
Inside that quartz tube, the halogen element does its job well. It keeps the heat output steady over time by slowing down filament evaporation and preventing that blackening you see in other bulbs. The quartz itself is tough—it handles sudden temperature shifts without breaking, and it runs hot enough to keep the halogen cycle humming. And for the wiring? We chose an R7s connector. It’s simple, secure, and quick to swap out if you ever need to. No fuss, especially when you’re out there on the shop floor.
Application & Benefits
This heater shines when operators need warm feet in a cold plant, or when equipment needs concentrated heat without a long wait. Its compact size makes it a breeze to install, even when you’re retrofitting older setups. And that high heat density means you get fast response—no hanging around. Now, a heads-up: with that kind of focused power, you do need to make sure there’s enough airflow and proper clearance. Match your enclosure and cooling to the heater, and you’re golden.
